Furious at heart, Tang sets fire to the Wongs and No. 2 is burnt to death. Chor-ping reports the case to the magistracy, but Tang bribes the magistrate into framing him. Chor-ping is imprisoned and helps an old man Wu Yau in jail to do hard labour. The latter gives him a medical journal out of favor.… ...
